INTERNSHIP Online Marketing Internship in Stockholm, Sweden

BannerFlow is a SaaS Startup with the brilliant idea of automizing the online banner ad creation process. They are currently looking for an Online/Digital Marketing intern to join their office in Stockholm, Sweden for 4-6 months who speaks and write English fluently.

Your skills
BannerFlow is looking for an intern with strong digital skills to join the marketing team, who can participate in all stages of their communication strategy and who knows that all activities should lead to more or happier customers. The web should be your breakfast, lunch and dinner. You are working in a digital environment with some years of experience or you are studying digital marketing, media management, business administration at a University or similar. If you also think that marketing and sales should work close together to contribute to the company’s business success, then you are the right person for BannerFlow.

Ideally you like creative writing and have a technical interest for digital products. It is of advance if you have previous experience in programming, but there is no requirement. If you have entrepreneurial thinking, passion and talent to develop these kind of skills, you will have a lot of fun in our team! Speaking Swedish is preferable, but not necessary. You should be very good in writing/speaking English. Speaking German would be the icing on the cake.

Job Description
Together with the team your main tasks will be to work with all elements of online marketing, especially content marketing that generates valuable content to our communication channels. Search Engine Optimization, Newsletter campaigns, Google Adwords/Analytics, writing press releases and a commonly new field called Marketing Automation can also be a part of your tasks. You will also respond to all inbound inquires and marketing leads to learn the customer needs, to help qualifying new leads and to turn them into happy customers.

As a part of the start up company your work tasks will vary and you should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment. The more you know and the more you want to know the more you will learn.

You will get insights of all parts of marketing in a digital world. You will also learn how marketing can contribute to sales and work close to the Head of Marketing. You will finish the internship having gained a broad experience in all key fields of digital marketing, advertising and a great knowledge of our growing cloud-based banner production platform. You will also be able to connect with great young talents and live your dreams at a startup.

Your internship will be 4-6 months and your working-hours will be upon agreement, but preferably  full time.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the entire Customer Success team: implementation, support, retention, career sites, and data migration.

As Business Development Intern you are responsible for the generation and development of both inbound and outbound new business opportunities.

Resposibilities
 Develop new business, through actively identifying prospective businesses and understanding their business model and needs for specific monetization services. Develop working relationships that turn into revenue, both for the client and Paymentwall. Actively and successfully managing the sales process: from lead generation to signing agreements; negotiations; closing deals; assisting the account management team. Present Paymentwall to potential clients through direct communication, face-to-face meetings, networking events, calling and e-mails. Representing Paymentwall at industry events and tradeshows with the intention of gaining new business leads and contacts. Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation with the assistance of senior Business Development Associates. Effectively interact with other departments including, but not limited to; technical integration and account management teams when necessary. Keeping updated on market trends and issues affecting the payments industry as well as collecting competitor intelligence. Partake in adhoc marketing activities in order to increase Paymentwall's visibility in current and expanding markets. Take initiative and strive to make a noticeable contribution to the company.

Requirements

  • You are confident, fun, friendly and most importantly business savvy understanding different business models and business needs. 
  • Ability to have serious conversations around technical subjects. 
  • Detail oriented, positive attitude and the ability to prioritize tasks to fit deadlines. 
  • Have excellent intercultural competences and experience working in diverse teams. 
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and extremely diverse teams to drive results. 
  • Fluent in English- speaking and written communication. 
  • Written and verbal communication skills in fluent Dutch and other European languages is highly valued (but not mandatory)
  • Graduated or graduating Spring/ Summer 2014
