Marketing/PR Internship for Royal Copenhagen Inc. in New York City, USA
The following internship offer refers to ROYAL COPENHAGEN Inc., a subsidiary of the Danish firm Royal Copenhagen, founded in 1775. ROYAL COPENHAGEN Inc. is a luxury goods company located in New York that covers the USA, Canada and Mexico. Our products range from hand painted dinnerware to home decoration.

We are searching for a motivated Intern in the Marketing & PR Department in our Manhattan Showroom for at least 6 months.
Main tasks:
o Assist the VP and the Project Manager in the daily operational business
o Promote Online Marketing via development of new concepts, promotional ideas and marketing material
o Assist with organization of product launch parties, the Spring Tabletop Show and all other Marketing & PR related events
o Working on innovative Social Networking strategies for platforms such as Twitter, facebook or MySpace
o Management of various Marketing & PR related projects
Qualifications:
o Completed basic studies or Bachelor degree with an interest in Marketing; recent graduates are welcome
o Fluency in English is a must; Danish is a plus
o Knowledge of MS-Office such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
o Strong communication skills, reliability and team spirit
o Talent for organization and ability to work independently
o Desire to work in a small team, doing conceptual but also hands-on work
Conditions/ Compensation:
o Starting Date around January 2010
o Duration of at least 6 months
o Salary to be determined upon skill level and duration of internship
