INTERNSHIP in Barcelona, Spain, International Marketing intern for a Spanish or French speaking student

The company

Flumotion is an award winning streaming technology and services company that is shaping the future of online video. Being the market leader in Spain with 90% of the top broadcasters as clients, we are now looking for a 1 French native speaker and 1 Spanish native speaker to join our international marketing department.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and be able to demonstrate a high level of copywriting skills. The founders and CEO are French, which will give you the opportunity to interact with the key decision makers of the company.
The role requires a motivated person who is able to effectively communicate the business through public relations and social media, while also able to work independently as well as in a team. Knowledge of French press, both print and online is desirable in order to build relations with high profile journalists and bloggers.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in an innovative technology company and to learn how to communicate to a global audience via the press and social media. You will be responsible in creating a strong presence on the French market, while being involved in all aspects of the marketing department.

Main Responsibilities:

- Creation of high quality content for press, website, product description and sales material in French.
- Develop and maintain relationships with influential bloggers and journalists in the France speaking markets.
- Identify interesting topics for the blog and help to write the articles.
- Coordinate public relations efforts with PR agency and distribution services in
France.
- Record and analyse all PR results and report them to the marketing manager.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of the marketing strategy.
- Maintain brand and product communication within the French speaking markets.
- Assist with day-to-day marketing tasks, such as keyword research and social
media promotion.
- Translation of sales, marketing and product content into French.
- Support sales department with client documentation and account management.
- Assist with the creation of video content.

Position Requirements (skills, characteristics):

- Native French speaker or Spanish Native speaker with at least intermediate English.
- Student of Business, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, etc. (3rd - 5th year) - Interest in online video, new technologies, open source, multimedia, Internet.
- Availability for at least 6 months, immediate start.
- Spanish is desirable, but not a must.

Compensation Plan:

- 600€ / month full-time
- Free English/Spanish lessons
