Job description

Corporate Procurement is responsible for supporting the indirect procurement process across the whole of Europe for the various business areas of Apple. The Corporate Procurement team needs an intern who can help support the delivery of contract closure, across a wide range of goods and services in a complex, ever changing and fast moving environment across EMEIA. The intern will also be required to support the EMEIA Head of Corporate Procurement in the development and Implementation of key initiatives.

The ideal intern will demonstrate an aptitude towards being a self-starter and driven to succeed. The intern will be expected to work with purchasing managers to;

• Develop and implement proactive approach to ensure the delivery of contract reviews.
• Work with cross-functional teams to capture Statements of Work, for contracts.
• Show a basic understanding how to drive negotiations and subsequent contracts along with drafting of contracts.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to succeed in influencing and persuading those around you.
• Have strong analytical capabilities, with good abilities in excel and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Provide reporting and analysis across a wide range of goods and services.
• Have a level of personal and professional integrity, Strong work ethic with a high degree of flexibility.
