Hunter Advisors are looking for an intern
Position’s Responsibilities
• Research / data entry on companies, and executives for searches, business development and general market knowledge utilizing the internet and phone
• Phone work consists of calling into firms to determine organizational structure (i.e. people’s names, job function, titles and reporting hierarchy)
• Research to be used in order to assist recruiters with company and executive research
• Maintain Hunter’s proprietary database (search management software) by updating various executive changes and company mergers/acquisitions using newsletters, press releases, and through sourcing in the industry
• Ability to assist on projects both short term and long term as various needs arise
• Other errands
Skill Set
• Team player, self-motivated and pro-active
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must possess effective organizational skills and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and utilize judgment regarding shifting top priorities
• Cold-calling experience a plus
• Must also be capable of devoting a portion of the day to long-term projects as assigned
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain complete client/candidate confidentiality
• Professional phone presence required & familiarity with the internet
Requirements
• Recent college grad or currently attending accredited 4-year university program
• Highly proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including basic Excel and Outlook. Power Point experience a plus.
• Knowledge of the executive recruiting business and/or the financial industry highly desirable, but not imperative.
Additional Information
• Ability to start within the next month, fulltime position Monday to Friday and will last for a minimum of 3 months
• Located in mid-town Manhattan
• Business casual, professional office environment
