Intern tasks:
Duties under the guidance and supervision of the marketing programme coordinator, you will be responsible the following activities:
• assist with the implementation of the marketing programme
• help develop the cta brand strategy
• act as a brand ambassador – monitor correct use and promotion of the brand internally and externally
• assist with the production of marketing collateral e.g. brochures, information flyers, etc
• liaise with different departments to understand their marketing needs and respond to them in a timely fashion
• assist with the development of a marketing and promotional campaign for a new publication launch
• responsible for internal communications newsletter
• assist in the organization and promotion of events where necessary
• assist with all other day to day marketing activities as necessary
• work as a key part of the marketing team providing insight, ideas and support
Desired Profile:
• University degree / Masters in marketing, communication, business or related discipline
• Recent graduate, between 22 - 29 years of age
• Ideally some experience in marketing and branding, preferably in the book industry.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Indesign CS3/CS4 and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of e-marketing tools.
• Strong writing skills
• Creative thinker who can work as part of a team and independently
• Passion for delivering high standards when multitasking and working to tight deadlines
• Flexible, self motivated and strong communicator
• Fluent in French and/or English language, and/or a good working knowledge of the other.
• Ideally familiar with African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries
• National of either one European Union member state or of one of the ACP states.
Start date: 1st of July 2010
Duration: 6 months (can be renewable once)
Location: Wageningen, The Netherlands
Remuneration:
Between €800 - €1000 per month depending on qualifications and experience
• Medical cover is provided for the duration of the internship).
