PayPal operates a dynamic business in SENE (South, East and Northern Europe) that addresses the payment needs of both merchants and consumers. With over 35M users, PayPal is rapidly becoming the preferred method of making and accepting online payments on eBay websites in the region and on tens of thousands of merchant websites.
This team is currently a small but senior team based in Paris, France and Stockholm, Sweden.
Mission and goals
Role:
Across all Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe markets :
- developing a deep understanding of PayPal specific value proposition for both consumers and web merchants
- developing and implementing in various languages or in English the relevant marketing programs across the area
- a responsibility for both consumer marketing and web merchant marketing
Specific to the Turkish market :
- increasing our knowledge of the Turkish market and contribute to dedicated plans
Responsabilities :
To accomplish her/his mission, the Marketing Intern will:
- be supervised by a manager and have extensive contacts with the sales and business development lead and the director and area manager
- benefit from PayPal expertise within and beyond the Northern, Central and Eastern Europe team
- indentify the most relevant programs and adapt them to the target markets
- progressively manage the relationship with external creative and translation agencies
- indentify and implement relevant segmentation approaches
- use content management, tracking and direct marketing tools on a daily basis
Desired Profile :
- Leading International Business Schools, ideally majoring in Marketing.
- Autonomy, a taste for international challenges, a good retail and consumer understanding and a sound marketing base, ideally previously applied to the Internet industry.
- Perfectly mastering Turkish, Nordic languages (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Russian) desirable
- Fluent in English
- Team spirit and a sense of humor is mandatory
