2P Contemporary Art Gallery work with private individual clients and corporate companies, specialise in sourcing ,commission artwork, providing art exhibition programme and promote emerging & international artists, working with them to stimulate dialogue and influence discourse in the contemporary art world.
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Intern to provide support on all projects. The job role is varied involving administration, research, sourcing and commissioning artwork. The successful candidate will also be responsible for cataloguing artwork and maintaining our new database.
The internship is perfect for individuals who want to get their ‘foot in the door’ of the competitive art world. Interns will learn about the ‘behind the scenes’ workings with different art distribution , and will develop transferrable knowledge and skills to help them pursue further work in the art sector. Interns will also receive a reference at the end of their internship.
The successful candidate should;
have keen interest in contemporary art, excellent administrative skills and written English. They should be happy to work in a team but also confident working independently. Good communication skills are imperative; candidates must feel comfortable liaising with artists and clients.
Salary: HKD 3000k | approx. 300 Euro monthly
