SUMMER INTERNSHIP FOR A REPORTER (7 JUNE - 31 AUGUST)

Thomson Reuters Sweden has an open position for a summer internship as a reporter in Stockholm. The intern will cover both political and financial news. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience from one of the world's largest news organisations.

Job Description
Covering political as well as financial news, reporting in the Swedish language
Contribute with market-moving initiative reporting as well as gathering information and conduct research into relevant facts and data as needed by the editorial teams.
Complete preparation and take part in coverage of scheduled events, such as press conferences, and economic acknowledgements.

Qualifications
-Be able to report in the swedish language

The successful applicant will be an energetic self-starter with a cool head in corporate reporting season and a sharp eye for developments in the stock market. Flexibility and ability to handle breaking news along with stock market reporting is essential. Accuracy and speed in capturing the significant parts of large amounts of information is a prerequisite. A good command of English is recommended. Strong interest in politics and finance is an advantage.
