INTERNSHIP in Copenhagen, Denmark as a Marketing Strategy Intern
Interested in gaining experience in the fashion industry? Lucie Kaas may have the right position for you. As exclusive distributor for the cult jewelry brand MissBibi in Scandinavia, we are looking for a bright, creative and ambitious intern to assist in developing a marketing strategy for the Swedish and Norwegian markets.
About MissBibi:
Launched in 2006 by young designer Brigitte Giraudi, this French jewelry brand draws its inspiration from transforming everyday objects into elegant pieces of jewelry. Since its release, MissBibi has had considerable success across Europe being featured in such high fashion outlets as Colette in Paris, Selfridges in London, and Blue Tree in New York. In the fall of 2010 visitors to Paris can look forward to seeing the first concept store open in les jardins du Palais Royal.
About the Position:
Lucie Kaas is looking for an enthusiastic and creative business student to assist in its efforts to expand the MissBibi brand into the Swedish and Norwegian markets. Tasks will include the following:
- Developing a market entry strategy
- Identify and classify potential sales channels
- PR and marketing strategy (with focus on PR)
Additional tasks may include:
- Translating marketing material
- Updating and maintaining dealer lists
Please note that this position will be unpaid initially, however for the right candidate it can develop into a permanent job either in sales or strategy development. This internship can also be done in coordination with school projects such as a Master Thesis. The position may also require travel (at the expense of Lucie Kaas).
The ideal candidate:
- Has an interest for fashion
- Student in marketing, communications, branding, or fashion related studies
- Knowledge of the Swedish or Norwegian market
- Experience in online marketing tools such as Facebook, Twitter and blogs
- Self-motivated, flexible, and can think outside the box
- Experience within the fashion industry and/or sales is a plus, but it is more important to be able to learn and grow with the given tasks
- Can work minimum 20 hours a week, ideally full-time
- Fluent in Swedish or Norwegian and English is a requirement
