PR and Marketing Intern
About the role:
For a rapidly developing and dynamic company like Grapple Mobile building a strong reputation, brand awareness and communicating the right messages is crucial. In this role you will assist the PR & Marketing Manager with a range of ad hoc tasks from news searches to writing press releases, and from arranging events to creating a company newsletter or securing speaker opportunities for senior company spokespeople. You will also be required to conduct in depth research into mobile related data and statistics and to stay abreast of the trends and shifts in the mobile and marketing industries to inform sales, news business and corporate documents.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable experience not only into the fast-paced world of PR and Marketing but also into the workings of a young technology start-up.
Skills required:
- Excellent written skills
- Excellent Powerpoint Skills i.e able to create attractive, well thought out and professional presentations
- Good research and analysis skills
- Creative thinker
- Acute attention to detail
- Flexible approach / can-do attitude
- Understanding and experience of social media channels (Twitter, Vimeo etc)
- Fast learner
- Keen interest in new media, mobile, marketing
- Knoweldge of MAC design and movie maker programmes preferable
- Previous PR experience preferable
This role would suit a committed and talented individual with some relevant experience, a willingness to learn and a desire to be part of something fast paced and exciting.
