The Swedish Trade Council offers internship in Paris
The Swedish Trade Council is a resource available to all Swedish companies wanting to do international business. Our services seek to help Swedish companies and their products, services and concepts become established and further develop on new markets. We have extensive experience of international business development and have a presence in more than 50 countries and around 530 employees. The Swedish Trade Council is owned by the Swedish government and the Swedish enterprise sector and has a turnover of around 550 million Swedish kronor.
The Swedish Trade Council in Paris offers services designed to assist the establishment and development of Swedish enterprises and their products, services and ideas in the French market. What will your duties be as an Intern in Paris?
As an Intern at the Paris office, you will take part in our consultancy projects. Duties include answering export-related questions from Swedish enterprises, participation in market analysis, partner/client searches, as well as participation in marketing and promotion of prioritized Swedish industrial sectors.
What are the qualifications required?
- The right person will be a university student and the internship semester should be a part of the educational program. Since the internship is unpaid you have to be able to finance your studies through CSN/scholarships etc. The University will act as principal during the internship (be responsible for insurances etc.).
- Fluency in English and very good knowledge of French is a must
- Sales experience, for example sales by phone, is preferable
- Outgoing and dedicated, the internship presupposes a large amount of own responsibility
- Possess initiative drive and be result focused
