INTERNSHIP Corporate finance intern for Hawkpoint in Paris, France

As a result of our continuing development in Paris, Hawkpoint is looking for one Intern, who is willing to work in a corporate finance environment, to be assigned to the Paris origination and transaction team. The French team is 20 strong and growing.

Interns are responsible for providing financial and statistical analysis for both transaction and origination purposes as well as conducting research, preparing supporting documentation and assisting in due diligence efforts. Hawkpoint is committed to providing its entire staff with the opportunity to pursue a meaningful and rewarding career. Training will be provided with training on the job supplemented by formal courses. Feedback from the team leader is provided on a regular basis throughout the year with a formal appraisal annually and a review on completion of each transaction assignment.

It is essential that candidates - third or second year student- possess the commitment and drive to succeed in a small but dynamic team based environment where long hours can be required when transactions are underway are essential. Candidates must also display a genuine ambition to work in a meritocratic and entrepreneurial organization.

Technical skills:
• Numerate (must be evident within qualifications)
• Computer Literate (familiar with spreadsheets; experience of financial modeling)
• Good written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate clearly and concisely) Personal attributes:
