The events held with other chambers of commerce have substantially increased, providing our members with a forum to exchange ideas and expand their network. Our activities include breakfast meetings, lunches, seminars, workshops and informal cocktail events.

Through its role in the strategic discussions that shape Hong Kong's business environment, the chamber strives to further develop its relationship with government institutions and to strengthen its ties with other chambers of commerce in Hong Kong, as well as organizations in mainland China.

MARKETING ASSIGNMENT
Organize chamber of commerce events, promote the chamber of commerce to acquire new members, promote the chamber of commerce to acquire new sponsors, promote current members to advertise through the chamber of commerce media. Internship research can be done beside this assignment but the emphasis should be more on the operational activities. The internship can be seen as an ideal networking placement in which many business contacts can be made.

Renumeration: HKD 3000 per month
Period: 6 months start if possible on February 2010
