INTERNSHIP in Brussels, Belgium as an EU-Affairs intern for Ramboll

Would you like to work with international, challenging and very dynamic projects on European issues?

Ramboll Management Consulting offers a highly challenging internship to work with our European Affairs competence centre in our office in Brussels. The intern will be part of our team in Brussels but will also work closely with our consultants in the head quarter in Copenhagen. The intern will progressively be involved in evaluation and research activities, primarily in the field of European policies.


Job description
You will be part of our EU team where we work on project types such as:
* Evaluations of EU Commission programmes and projects
* Studies of topical issues (in preparation for new European initiatives)
* Impact Assessments of new Commission initiatives
* Regulatory Impact Assessments, where the (expected) effects of a certain directive are measured

As an intern, you will assist our consultants in conducting desk research on relevant topics, as well as through other assignments such as interviews, collecting and processing data, etc. You will also be involved in market surveillance activities, and the preparation of technical proposals for our international tenders. The working language is English.

The ideal candidate should be:
* A high-achieving graduate student in the field of political science, public administration, law, economics, business, international development or equivalent
* Dynamic, quick learner with good organisational and communication skills, able to work efficiently in a working environment characterised by unpredictability
* Preferable native speaker from a Southern, Central or Eastern European country; fluent in English written and oral
* Willingness and capacity to work on EU projects
* Knowledge of European policies and institutional set up
* Experience in public management and evaluation, plus conducting research and data collection, is an asset

The internship starts in February 2011 with duration of 5-6 months (full time). Interns receive a monthly remuneration.
