Primary Job Responsibilities:
- The strategy intern’s role with PayPal’s EU Platform team will be to research new business opportunities, craft and communicate go to market strategies to senior leadership.
- Help lead, organize, create and deliver effective communication of strategy to drive understanding and decisions across the organization
- Lead and advise project teams focused on developing key growth areas and new verticals
- Help drive project prioritization by supporting internal teams with strategic alignment and financial analysis
- Provide support for strategic and financial evaluation of potential partnerships
- Help champion strategic rationale for potential M&A opportunities and lead valuation analysis
- Actively monitor competitive and industry landscape highlighting potential risks and opportunities and providing basic market research overview
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- 2-4 years strategy consulting experience in top 5 firm or corporate strategy experience in consumer internet or financial services
- Ability to perform advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Ability to structure a strategic storyline
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of an organization
- Ability to multi=-task with great attention to detail
- Practical results-orientation
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and top level of academic performance (Current MBA students preferred)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Interest/experience in ecommerce/internet
