INTERNSHIP in Copenhagen, Denmark as a Cultural Project Assistant Intern for Ragnarock

In connection with a wide-ranging series of international projects, Ragnarock nordic festival, a non-profit association seeks for autumn/winter 2012 an intern/volunteer who want to apply the theory learned at university into practical tools in the workplace.

Collaboration
Ragnarock offers the opportunity to deal with international project management, especially between Italy
and northern European countries (Dk, No, Se, Is, Fi). The topics covered will be sustainability, fashion,
design, food, economics, art and politics.
In particular, we will focus on the preparation of the first fair of nordic sustainable technology.

The nordic fair is to be held in Milan, Italy in 2013. The task will consist on coordinating all the potential
participants (the Nordic Chambers of Commerce in Italy, the Nordic Embassies in Italy, The Danish
Ministry of Energy and Environment, the Italian Ministry of Environment, The Danish Culture Institute,
The European Commission, UNESCO and many others), fundraising and shape the structure itself.

Your responsibilities/tasks
- Participate actively in fund raising, assist in the writing and correction of documents
- Assist the project managers / director of Ragnarock
- Project management: being a figure of reference and become responsible for specific projects
- Communication

Qualifications
- Studies in management of cultural and / or humanities, economics is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English.
- Knowledge of spoken and written Danish (other Nordic languages are a plus, but are not required)
- The internship / co-operation will be held in Copenhagen. The office is located in the headquarter
of The Danish Culture Institute, since Ragnarock association stricly collaborate with it. There will be no
expenses refund from travel from Italy or hotel.
- Excellent knowledge of tools to write Windows / Macintosh, generally familiar with computers and
new software.
- Accuracy, positivity, energy and willingness to learn are the key words.
- A strong motivation and sense of responsibility

Ragnarock is a nonprofit association founded in 2007 in Milan, Italy. The objective is to improve our
society through exchange of best practices between countries of the world. Ragnarock organizes the
most 'important festival of the Nordic countries of Italy, and works with numerous private and public
institutions in the creation of new collaborations. Some of the projects are international conferences,
photo exhibitions, music concerts, fair of Nordic companies in Italy, Ragnarock offers young students
the rare opportunity to go up to the reality of the job duties with great responsibility, aimed always
learning and personal improvement. The work will be done in close collaboration with the founder and
president of Ragnarock association.
