Then Lufthansa Cargo offers you the chance to experience the dynamic working environment at the General Management office of Lufthansa Cargo AG (Italy) in Milan starting at the end of
June 2010 for about 6 months.
Your tasks
You will be assisting the Sales & Handling Team Italy in analyzing and evaluating quality, sales and handling performance. You will obtain full responsibility for part of the different monitorings in the region of Italy and Malta, including data and statistic analyses, weekly creation of graphs with the help of Excel and Power Point and communication with stations in the whole of Italy and Malta. Further, you will prepare and participate in meetings but also get on-site experiences such as accompanying the Quality Manager Italy on assessments of cargo handling agents at airports.
You will be actively participating in Sales Steering processes and we offer you versatile, interesting and above all, challenging responsibilities e.g. preparing and analyzing Monitoring and Reports, applying different pricing tools and investigating Lufthansa Cargo`s competitive environment.
Besides you will get hands-on experience of all strategic departments. Your tasks will include support of the Management Team Italy & Malta: Regional Director, Sales Steering, Marketing and Controlling/HR.
Lufthansa Cargo AG Italy gives you the chance to takeover challenging projects and assignments requiring a high level of responsibility and a proactive approach.
Your profile
* You are studying business engineering, business administration, economic sciences or related fields
* You are enrolled in your university for the entire period of the internship
* You have outstanding computer skills, especially advanced knowledge in MS Excel and Power Point including experience in using PivotTables
* You have a very good knowledge of English and German, knowledge of Italian is an advantage
* You have an intercultural sensibility and competence
* You have a high degree of flexibility, commitment and enthusiasm
* You are self-confident and focused on results
* You have analytical and problem-solving oriented working methods
* You are a team player and have very good social skills
* Experience in logistics or airline industry is a plus
