The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Philadelphia has an opening for a Marketing & IT intern.

Tasks
You will develop, design and set up the new SACC website in order to make it more user-friendly and accessible.
You will also assist with the daily operations of the chamber including maintenance of the website and coordinate events. The position also includes marketing, public relations, communications and recruitment of new members. You will work closely with the members of the board.

Requirements:
Fluency in speech and writing in both English and Swedish., be pro-active, self-driven and have good social skills.
Candidates should have graduated from a university (or close to graduating) with a U.S. equivalent of a Bachelors or Masters degree. Very good knowledge of creating,maintaining a web site and setting up a new web server. We also assume that you possess the necesssary knowledge in web programming/designing such as CSS,HTML and related web techniques and web programming.
Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).

Preferred but not required: 
Previous work experience and/or internships within IT and marketing.

Location: Philadelphia
Duration of Trainee period: 6-18 months
Start date: January 10th, 2010
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship
