SUMMER INTERNSHIP in Hong Kong, as a Private Equity Intern

Sprint Capital is a Hong Kong based private equity investment manager, focused on undertaking investments in the mining and natural resources sector.
Spring capital are currently keen to recruit two or three summer interns for the next two or three months.

Sprint Capital seeks to invest in resources which are in high demand across China and the wider Asian region (incl. high grade thermal and metallurgical coal, oil and gas, iron ore, potash and copper). Sprint Capital’s investment approach is to partner with strong management teams with a proven track record, in bringing highly prospective exploration and development-stage projects through to production.

Internship Role
The intern roles would involve assisting with the execution of ongoing private equity investments and providing support to current asset management of existing investments.

Desired Skills
Individuals should have some basic understanding of accounting and be PC literate.
Sprint Capital are ideally looking for a Chinese speaker, a Russian speaker and another individual.

INTERNSHIP IKEA - Marketing intern United Kingdom

INTERNSHIP AT THE IKEA MARKETING DEPARTMENT, UK

The external communication team at IKEA UK is looking for an intern who wants to work with them during autumn 2009. The team works with a variety of projects targeted towards the UK customers, for instance print ads, branding activities etc.

The intern will be expected to carry out various tasks within the team. You´re duties require you to provide assistance in several projects like the production of the IKEA catalogue and brochures, maintenance of the website and supporting advertising campaigns.

You will gain insight on how the external communication team works within a global company. This is an excellent opportunity for marketing students to gain some hands on experience.

The head office where the internship takes place is situated in London.

Internship period
Start date: preferably from the 27 July or in August 2009.
Applicants should be willing to stay for at least 2 months or longer.
You will be working 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday.

Who are we looking for?
- Candidates must have completed at least one year of higher education in marketing (university education) and still be a registered student during the internship.
- Must be fluent in English.
- You must be proactive, eager to learn/acquire new skills and be able to work competently both in a team and independently.

Payment
The internship is unpaid but we will pay for a monthly travel card.
