Sprint Capital is a Hong Kong based private equity investment manager, focused on undertaking investments in the mining and natural resources sector.
Spring capital are currently keen to recruit two or three summer interns for the next two or three months.

Sprint Capital seeks to invest in resources which are in high demand across China and the wider Asian region (incl. high grade thermal and metallurgical coal, oil and gas, iron ore, potash and copper). Sprint Capital’s investment approach is to partner with strong management teams with a proven track record, in bringing highly prospective exploration and development-stage projects through to production.

Internship Role
The intern roles would involve assisting with the execution of ongoing private equity investments and providing support to current asset management of existing investments.

Desired Skills
Individuals should have some basic understanding of accounting and be PC literate.

The Public Relations/Client Services Internship (hereinafter called Internship) workload is divided between three key areas of the company: project coordination, new business and internal coordination.

The Internship is unpaid; however, the company will provide basic accommodation, one main meal per day, transportation to/from work, and a unique multicultural learning experience. The company will also be flexible in supporting studies and adjunct research time requirements.

The core function of the Internship will be to assist the team with client liaison, and to take a role in organizing client projects. Initially these projects will always be run by the PR/Client Services Director with assistance from other staff. As an internship position, the Intern, with the PR/Client Services Executive, is responsible for the quality and precision of the end result. This means taking every step to ensure the quality of the company’s service and that the client is satisfied.

The Intern will frequently attend new business meetings with PR/Client Services Director. The Intern may be called upon to present concepts and proposals. The role will also involve a responsibility for attracting and approaching potential new clients. Together with the PR/Client Services Director, the Intern will be exposed to the processes for expanding the Company service offering for Brand Communications services, particularly PR and Advertising.

The Intern will learn critical skills in helping to create and coordinate an effective and disciplined Public Relations/Client Services team. The Intern will support the Director to maintain a strict flow of information and guidance in the teams working practice. In the absence of the PR/Client Services Director, the Intern will be the a contact for clients in the office and will be contribute to many of the department’s activities.
