Key Responsibilities

INTERNSHIP for Nordic chamber of commerce in Bogotá, Colombia

The Nordic Chamber of Commerce in Colombia offers two internships for Nordic business students. The internship will allow two students to work at the offices of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce in Colombia for a period of one semester starting in January and ending in June, specific dates will be arranged between the trainee and the employer.

The successful applicant will get the opportunity to gain considerable knowledge of the Colombian and Latin American business environment and Nordic-Colombian trade by working with research regarding export/import and regional development related matters. The trainee will also be providing general support to the organization. The internship is a non-salary position. However if an internship is a formal part of the education study funds could be eligible.

During the internship you will be part of our international marketing and
sales team and work together with approximately 5 other colleagues. Your

You will learn about emerging technologies and

The Swedish Trade Council offers internship in Paris

The Swedish Trade Council is a resource available to all Swedish companies wanting to do international business. We have extensive experience of international business development and have a presence in more than 50 countries and around 530 employees. The Swedish Trade Council in Paris offers services designed to assist the establishment and development of Swedish enterprises and their products, services and ideas in the French market. What will your duties be as an Intern in Paris?
As an Intern at the Paris office, you will take part in our consultancy projects. Duties include answering export-related questions from Swedish enterprises, participation in market analysis, partner/client searches, as well as participation in marketing and promotion of prioritized Swedish industrial sectors.

What are the qualifications required?
- The right person will be a university student and the internship semester should be a part of the educational program. Since the internship is unpaid you have to be able to finance your studies through CSN/scholarships etc. The University will act as principal during the internship (be responsible for insurances etc.).
- Fluency in English and very good knowledge of French is a must
- Sales experience, for example sales by phone, is preferable
- Outgoing and dedicated, the internship presupposes a large amount of own responsibility
- Possess initiative drive and be result focused

Intern Position Summary
The Intern will assist Volvo Parts North America with development of a Life Cycle Earnings Model. The tasks conclude extensive complex work in MS Excel, with couplings to various exisitng data bases. The candidates must have expert knowledge of Excel, and be competent in Technical and Economical (Technomical) issues.

Start date: ASAP, but earliest end of September 2009.

Duration of training period: 3-6 Months. Full-time.

Location: North Carolina

Compensation: This is an unpaid position. There may however be room for other form of stipend.

Requirements: Extensive complex work in MS Excel, with couplings to various exisitng data bases. The candidate must have expert knowledge of Excel, and be competent in Technomical issues.
To participate in the SACC-USA Trainee Program, you must be a current or recent student at a Swedish institution of higher learning (category intern) or have a degree from such an institution and one year's experience in the field (category trainee). The intern/trainee should have the intention to return to Sweden at the end of the training period.

INTERNSHIP PR& Communication Intern at the Swedish Consulate in San Diego, USA



Consular Assistant - PR & Communication
The Consulate of Sweden in San Diego is a very active, honorary consulate located in one of the world´s most important high-technology regions. We strive to promote Sweden, Swedish business and Swedish interests in area. The Consulate will accept applications for one PR & Communication consular intern for the period
January 5, 2010 to July 5, 2010 to work with staff and other interns.

It is crucial for the intern to be able to understand and communicate in advanced English. The intern should possess an outgoing attitude and be willing to initiate new projects. A general interest in international politics and public relations is preferred. The intern is required to work independently and show great power of initiative.

The PR & Communication intern should have a strong interest in public relations and the art of communicating a message to its receivers. Good networking skills are vital, as well as an ability to establish and maintain good relations with the local community. The PR & Communication intern will, among other things, update the Consulate´s website www.sweden-sandiego.org, contribute to the Consulate´s newsletter, organize and promote local events; and create press releases. The intern will also take part in the work for consular affairs, including providing emergency services to Swedish citizens.

The applicant must be a Swedish citizen and preferably have completed at least three years of university studies, preferably with an emphasis on public relations. Knowledge in website development is a requirement and knowledge in PHP and Wordpress integration is recommended. The internship is unpaid, but can be combined with the applicant´s university studies. It is also possible to combine the internship with the writing of a thesis.
