INTERNSHIP in Geneva, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum

The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. Incorporated as a not-for-profit foundation in 1971 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the Forum is tied to no political, partisan or national interests.

The Risk Response Network (RRN) provides an independent platform to better map, measure, monitor, manage and mitigate global risks and is now seeking a Risk Response Network Intern. 
They are also looking for an HR Intern

Internship Role
You will research existing commercial risk assessment tools and write a report on the tools that could be of greatest interest to the RRN. You will also provide programme support to develop four workshops on supply chain risks.
 More specifically, the tasks will include:
• Using available public sources, Forum community experts and external interviews to conduct research and write the report on commercially available risk assessment tools
• Assisting in the management of a growing number of supply chain risk experts and tracking their engagement with the Forum through various software tools and the Forum’s online platform
• Assisting with the organization of the workshops, including handling logistics and producing background documents

You have Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent university diploma.
You are fluent in spoken and written English.
You possess excellent computer skills, especially in Excel, Word and Lotus Notes.
You are familiar with using online social media platforms.

INTERNSHIP in Brussels, Belgium as a Regulatory and Notification Intern

Obelis SA is a professional organization that offers commercial, regulatory, administration, and market development services. The organization offers services to non-European and non-US medical device manufacturers.

European Regulatory Affairs Consultancy:
The RN (Regulatory and Notification) Intern will take part in the consultation of clients in reference to their products´ technologies, innovations and unique formulations, while also being active in the classification and regulatory solutions of different products & borderline products. Overall, these processes require diligence and creativity with an international look as well as superior analytical skills. A background in Quality Assurance, Business, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Administration and similar disciplines will be an obvious benefit.

Quality Assurance:
The RN Intern will be responsible for reviewing, for ensuring regulatory compliance, and for the quality assurance of all technical documentation received from clients ? mainly in the sector of the Biotechnology system such as medical devices and in-vitro diagnostic devices, Cosmetics, Food Supplements and many more. Supporting the clients, analyzing their products´ compliance under the essential requirements of the applicable regulation and implementing them into the internal process, as well as other vital tasks, will be a daily practice. The RN Intern will regularly work with clientele from over 35 countries around the world, Quality Managers, Assessors, Inspectors and European Ministries.

Manage Notification Procedures:
Upon completion of the quality control of the technical documentation, The RN Intern will work directly with European Ministries in order to successfully submit the notification files containing the products to be placed onto the European market by the clients. Additionally, the position will require high organizational skills with the ability to prepare for control and audits by various European Competent Authorities. The RN Intern will be expected to seek to develop & improve the Compliance Verification and Notification Process. The ability to learn quickly, to prioritize tasks, and an enthusiasm and curiosity for new and unfamiliar topics will aid this intern to perform his duties efficiently and effectively.

Job description
You will be part of our EU team where we work on project types such as:
* Evaluations of EU Commission programmes and projects
* Studies of topical issues (in preparation for new European initiatives)
* Impact Assessments of new Commission initiatives
* Regulatory Impact Assessments, where the (expected) effects of a certain directive is measured

You will be included in several different assignments, i.e. desk research, interviews, analyses and data processing, as well as some administrative tasks. The working language is English and thus it is not a prerequisite to be able to speak and write in Danish.

Your profile
You have a Bachelor's degree and are studying for a Master's Degree, probably in European Studies, Social Anthropology, International Business, Law, Political Science, Economics or the like, where you are among the top students. You have knowledge of and interest in the EU.

You are analytical, structured and good at handling many tasks at the same time, and you are fluent in English both written and orally. It is an advantage if you speak and perhaps write a second European language such as French, German or Spanish. It is moreover an advantage if you have experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis and/or evaluation methodology, either from your studies or from a student job.

A small part of the EU team also works with international donor-funded activities in the field of good governance, primarily related to public procurement and anti-corruption. If you have interest in and experience in this field from your studies or student job, you may let us know in your application.
